Odoo now has its Responsible Declaration for VeriFactu Spain: your ERP ready to comply with the Anti-Fraud Law
The Tax Agency requires all invoicing systems to comply with the Anti-Fraud Law and, from 2026, with the new VeriFactu mode. This change will affect all companies and professionals who issue invoices in Spain, and already has a defined calendar:
Companies (legal entities): from January 1, 2026
Self-employed workers and other natural persons: from July 1, 2026
Software providers: must have their systems adapted from July 29, 2025
Odoo has delivered on time and in full. On June 24, 2025, Odoo SA submitted its Responsible Declaration of Invoicing Computer Systems, confirming that version 18+ of Odoo Enterprise complies with:
Law 58/2003, General Tax Law (article 29.2.j).
Royal Decree 1007/2023, which establishes the technical requirements.
Order HAC/1177/2024, with all the specifications of VeriFactu.
This means that companies working with Odoo Enterprise already have the first official version of the l10n_es_verifactu module, ready to operate in VeriFactu mode and send invoicing records in real time to the Tax Agency.
What does this first version include?
Electronic signing of invoices with a unique PFX certificate per database.
Automatic sending of invoicing records to the AEAT in VeriFactu format.
Native integration with POS and a centralized backend to consolidate data in real time.
Exclusive “VeriFactu” mode to guarantee that the system always operates under legal requirements.
